Amberlinks
Logo for Amberlinks website intended as a portal to organisations and resources relating to climate change. You can read more about the development of this logo and the typical Wingfinger branding design process in our case study.
Gone Potty
We’ve always had a soft spot for this logo we designed for GonePotty, a Harrogate-based ceramics retailer specialising in quirky vases. Strapline: ‘I’ve got the pots for you.’
Jubilee 2000
The logo that appeared on (probably) the world’s biggest petition, calling for the cancellation of unpayable international debts. See the logo in action in an early poster campaign. Although the coalition was disbanded at the end of 2000, we’ve also designed literature for its successor, Jubilee Debt Campaign.
European Microwave Week 2011
We had quite a specific brief to fulfil here, to convey both the location of this conference (Manchester) and its focus (microwaves). We had a lot of fun investigating the uses of microwaves and combining visual representations of them with famous Manchester landmarks, but our final image for the event was a simple suggestion of waves forming a backdrop to the conference location, the G-Mex centre.
African Carbon Livelihoods
A trust involved in developing and selling carbon offsets through agroforestry and land-management projects in various African countries. The Africa-shaped leaf graphic we used for this branding is one of our favourite Wingfinger creations.
Homelessness Sunday
Part of the design identity for Homelessness Sunday, this was used on everything from folders to t-shirts to resource sheets. Wingfinger have created branding for several Homelessness Sunday events over the last few years, and we also designed their resources website.
EBICo
The rebranding of the ‘Equitable Billing Company’ required four logos – one for each branch of the not-for-profit energy supplier as well as a corresponding identity for the parent company. Wingfinger have also designed successful websites for Ebico and its carbon-offsetting service EquiClimate.
Stamp Out Poverty
When the Tobin Tax Network relaunched with a new campaign name, Wingfinger was given the job of rebranding the organisation as Stamp Out Poverty. We have also designed promotional material and several financial reports for this campaign highlighting innovative sources of funding for development aid.
Vetwork UK
A new logo for this charity promoting interest and research in animal health and welfare. Vetwork was keen to have many animals represented in the logo to reflect their diverse work with NGOs and international development organisations as well as within the UK. This cut-out solution satisfied that brief while maintaining a bold, clean look that is legible even at small web sizes.
See some of the early ideas for this logo in the Wingfinger Playpen.
Commonwheels
Branding design for a new car-share organisation. A fun and simple logo that had to work at various sizes, and for print and web formats. It came back to haunt us, however, when the client decided they would like their handbook the same shape…
Louder
Louder is a new social networking site created specifically for campaigning and activist groups. This logo was designed to reflect the aims of the website and to work predominantly as a web graphic.
eTect
Wingfinger designed this logo promoting a new piece of medical diagnostic technology. The client was keen for the image to relate to the chip diamond pattern used in the actual hardware.
