STOP Homelessness
A resource and publicity pack for Homelessness Sunday. The theme of ‘Stop Homelessness / Build Happiness’ worked well with a traditional ‘stop’ sign graphic…
STOP Homelessness
…that also doubled as a grin. Here is the folded pack, with the circular top flap (the reverse side to the ‘stop’ sign) folded down.
Cartoons
Our resident cartoonist produces work for several periodicals and journals, including ten years of the Journal of Perioperative Practice. As well as featuring in Wingfinger designs, his cartoons are available on individual commission.
There are a few more cartoons on display inside the Wingfinger Playpen.
Forms and assessments
No form too complicated – we like a challenge at Wingfinger! A 28-page, full-colour form for Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust. We transformed a wide-ranging and complicated set of hospital inpatient forms into a neat and comprehensible colour-coded document.
Forms and assessments
Detail from the RBH nursing assessment shows just how much there was to fit in. Clarity was crucial as there were fill-in sections for patients as well as staff.
Forms and assessments
Another detail – different colours give instant indications as to which parts of the form are to be returned to and regularly updated and which are filled in once with key information.
Graphs and charts
We will custom make graphs and charts for our documents and often find more concise or suitable ways to present the data in the process. These graphs were recreated from a clunky Excel file and poor scans for a joint campaign paper, ‘2 Degrees’.
Graphs and charts
Another graph from the ‘2 Degrees paper’. Being able to use full colour for graphs and charts is a bit of a luxury…
Graphs and charts
…since many of the statistical graphics we produce are for the insides of reports and workbooks, so usually two-colour or black and white. These examples are from ‘Assessing The Millennium Promise’ for Stamp Out Poverty.
Campaign banner
No job too big – this 6m x 12m banner for Jubilee 2000 featured the signatures of some of their big-name supporters. The Dalai Lama’s signature was enlarged 10,000% from an original executed in blue biro.
YBA letterhead
Stationery created as part of the branding design for the Yorkshire Baptist Association. We’re happy to develop letterheads, business cards and compliment slips as part of a branding project, and always consider the print requirements for a logo design alongside its web compatibility.
Illustration
A Wingfinger publicity campaign that highlighted our thirty-odd years in the graphics business. We enjoy any and all illustration challenges, whether they are individual commissions or part of a wider design job.
Shaping the future
An interactive CD Rom. We designed this on-body for the disc itself, as well as the graphical interfaces for the software. Wingfinger have developed a great working relationship with a local business who produces and prints CDs and DVDs.
