Envirotrade
Phase one of a website design for carbon offsetting company Envirotrade. We made use of the organisation’s great collection of photos from community and forestry projects to introduce life and colour into a clean design. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
Envirotrade
The home page features the organisation’s current publicity imagery, continued as a saturated header image through the rest of the site.
Amberlinks
Amberlinks is a portal for resources and links relating to climate change. The website was developed in partnership with Sitewriters, who created the content management system. Wingfinger designed the visuals and created the CSS style sheets. The site is accessible and fluid, with the design resilient towards regular editing and updates by the Amberlinks moderating team. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
Amberlinks
Each main section of the site has a strong colour theme and related graphical content. The outer container with menus and header uses the purple, oranges and greys we developed for our Amberlinks branding design.
Carplus UK
Carplus is a national charity promoting responsible car use. This site has been relaunched by Wingfinger, maintaining the original sleek look graphics designed by branding agency Provokateur. We have combined two formerly separate car sharing sites, and brought everything over to a content management system powered by Wordpress. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
Carplus UK
The Wordpress setup allows the client flexibility and freedom in creating and maintaining web content, without them having to get stuck into all the nerdy coding side of things! We’ve enabled Carplus to do everything from simple text updates through to customising online forms.
Carplus UK
We also included a facility to incorporate the quarterly integrated HTML newsletter emailed out by the charity. If you’re interested in the possibilities of a bespoke Wordpress-driven site by Wingfinger, contact us for more information. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
MNDA 2010 Campaign
Occasionally we are hired by other website developers to provide visual designs for sites, and this is a recent example. The Motor Neurone Disease Association are running an awareness campaign alongside the general election and our colleagues at Sitewriters called on us for an appropriate and punchy layout. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
Leeds TIDAL
Another flexible content-managed site, this time for justice campaign group TIDAL. The site is designed to be regularly updated and accessed by contributors and activists, and includes integration for networking and news feeds such as Twitter. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
EBICo
Wingfinger designed this site for the Venkatraman Memorial Trust. We created a friendly, clean design with a simple navigable structure. Making all aspects of the site accessible was key. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
PHAW
Wingfinger have designed resource packs for Poverty and Homelessness Action Week for several years. This website was created to enable online access to resources, and featured registration and log-in facilities, and secure downloads. Read more about how Wingfinger approaches web design projects in the case study on this site. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
Stop Climate Chaos
This website design for Stop Climate Chaos includes a message board, email sign-up and RSS feed facility, and a simple content management tool. We also designed a simple carbon calculator for use by site visitors. See more Wingfinger website samples here.
Jane Goodall
The renowned Jane Goodall Institute is a global organisation that ‘empowers people to make a difference for all living things.’ With a tight timescale, we produced the visuals to clarify and streamline the existing site for our colleagues at Sitewriters, who built the site’s content management system.
