About the company

Wingfinger Graphics was launched on a shoestring in 1973, and we’ve been expanding our skills, portfolio and client base ever since. Working out of our cosy studio in central Leeds, we are an approachable team who bring a diversity of creative backgrounds and skills to the table.

All the help you need

At Wingfinger we believe in fostering strong and transparent relationships with our clients so we can find the best solutions for their requirements. We’re a friendly bunch, and are ready to give you all the help you need to get your project going. With a reputation for getting excellent results from tight budgets (including finding the best printers for a given job), all our work tends to benefit from our thirty-odd years of design and print know-how – and you’ll see that in the finished product.

Our clients

Over the years we’ve tackled design projects dealing with all kinds of subjects and for many different audiences. We have been working with clients from a broad range of backgrounds including:

  • Justice and anti-poverty campaigns
  • Environmental and global awareness groups
  • International development agencies
  • Local councils and public sector
  • Small businesses
  • Universities, schools and colleges
  • Churches and non-profit organisations.

Not just a day job

Often our interests outside the office help inform us in our creative work, from thermal collectors to theropods. We’re always keen to engage with the jobs that we take on, and it means we have a better understanding of what end-users need. We aren’t afraid to tackle the big issues – in fact we are proud to be able to give a clearer voice to those who are trying to get important messages heard.

Using our roots

In the early years, Wingfinger designed and screen-printed posters by hand. Since the seventies, we’ve seen graphic design trends come and go, and technologies develop.

We’ve never lost that original empathy with print, and can advise our clients on all aspects of the process, as well as check that our partner printers are doing their jobs. Find out more about our print coordination services.

Over many years we’ve developed a good cooperative relationship and found that [Wingfinger] pay genuine attention to our requirements as clients – then work their creative and technical wizardry to interpret these in an imaginative way.
